Reflection, introspection, and personal aspirations are on the one hand initiated by the individual from within, and on the other hand still exist in the context of the social norm. So, I am interested in the boundary that separates this inner and outer, and how this separation actually occurs.
The transparent film is the metaphorical demarcation of the boundary. The text written on it, which is about an individual's unproductive beliefs, is a kind of optic that refracts and distorts objective perception.
The suspended object is a transparent PVC-film cocoon. Negative beliefs are written on the inner side of the cocoon. Once inside it, one unwittingly begins to distort the perception of reality with such negative beliefs.
