Starting from Schelling's concept of the dynamic nature of borders, according to which they are not static lines but rather "dynamic interfaces where opposing forces meet and interact", in my work I investigate this topic on the example of territorial borders in the space of one city.

The district borders in Moscow are formally established and exist on maps and in documents, but they are not physically marked on the ground in any way, so the city space is perceived as a single whole. In addition, the borders of Moscow itself, as well as the borders of its individual districts, have changed repeatedly in the course of history. The city continues to expand, and its structure is not perceived as something permanent and immutable - rather, as something living, mobile and imperceptible to overcome, like a row of balloons.
